**Happy Dance!!**

I'm doin' a little happy dance today! It's official, I got my results. I am a State of Florida Board Certified Licensed Practical Nurse!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!

(maybe I won't tell my crazy neighbor that I'm a student anymore)

Good Omen?

Today was the big day guys! I put on some comfy clothes, took a few deep breaths, loaded up in the truck that the boy so graciously left me to drive (since the a/c is broken in my car), and headed out to take the big ol' nasty test that would determine if I would be a Licensed Practical Nurse sooner, rather than later. I think I did okay. I won't know for sure until tomorrow.... and it's kindda hard to explain, but basically...I either did really well, or I really suck. And I don't think I suck. I hope. Besides, my mom said I tested on a good day. I didn't know it when I picked the day.. I just picked it because it had a time available that wasn't at the butt crack of dawn.... but, today is Nurse's Appreciation Day and the first day of National Nurses Appreciation Week! I know the day is almost over and it's probably a little bit late to run on out and hug a nurse, but you could at least keep all us nurses in your thoughts this evening and remember that we all worked really hard to be the best that we can be - FOR YOU!

You may have noticed that I've mentioned a few times in my previous posts that I've graduated!!!! What's that? You didn't? Then PAY MORE ATTENTION PEOPLE! This is a BIG deal! lol... Just kidding, I'm sure ya'll are quite observant bloggers. And I'm also sure you're ready to see some pictures of the event, aren'tcha? Well, here ya go!

My turn! I used to hate this lady, she just about made me cry in clinicals. Looking back, she was one of the best teachers I had. Once I proved to her, and myself, that I was intelligent and confident, life got A LOT better.

Now I'm just spending my days relaxing, and studying for my state boards. I'm hoping to get approval to test sometime soon, and then I can work on getting into RN school, and possibly working.

Fashion Dilemma!

Exciting news!!! In about 1 month (March 23rd to be exact), I will be graduating from LPN school! (pending I pass 2 more tests, but of course I'll pass... right? I hope... pray for me...) Anyway...

Here's where we come to my dilemma!

I bought these shoes a few months ago on sale, but they only had them in a 6.5.

Turns out, I needed a 6. With thick socks, they would be okay... with tacky white stockings, they are floppy and goofy. SO, I'm on the hunt for them in a 6, which I've found.

BUT they are not even CLOSE to being on sale.

In the process, I also came across these....Which are MUCH cheaper.

But I can't decide which ones I want! Now, neither of them are all that comfy really. And I don't really love either of them... but they are the cutest nursing shoes I've seen yet. So, I need YOU to help me make the decision!

It may not be the cutest ensemble in the world, but I DO have to be seen in public in it! And I'm pretty sure my mom ALREADY has her camera ready....
